Hikes in the Vestfold Hills are full of amazing scenery. There are vast fields of boulders; beautiful rocks of many different varieties and colors. There are no plants anywhere, just some lichens and moss. In this photo Kath McMahon and Heidi Caldon, graduate students from Macquarie University, are strolling through a field of 'dropstones', rocks that dropped out of the glaciers that used to cover the area.
