Amery Ice Shelf Loose Tooth Monitoring 2005-2006
Davis Station is located at the edge of the Vestfold Hills, an area
along the coast that is not covered by the ice cap. In the past,
however, glaciers scraped all the soil off of the area, leaving hills
made of exposed bedrock and valleys filled with frozen lakes.
