Finally, it was time for us to deploy the seismometers (vibration sensors) and GPS units to the Loose Tooth rift.  We flew down the coast from Davis Station in helicopters; the views were a mix of rocky islands, glaciers, icebergs, frozen ocean, open waters, and the ice cap.
