This is the science team. From left to right: Jim Behrens, Heidi Caldon, Kath McMahon, Anthony Hull, Marianne Okal, and Benoit Legresey. We are spending six to eight weeks camping out on the ice shelf, collecting active source seismic data to image the internal structure of the ice and learn how it flows. This data set is part of Kath's doctoral dissertation project.
