Towards the end of our time out there, a big blizzard came through that lasted for a whole week! A "whiteout" can easily occur during a blizzard, where it becomes impossible to see the horizon, or even see any detail on the ground, making it difficult and dangerous to walk very far. Here, Marianne appears to hold tiny Hully in her hand. She has an Australian flag on her cheek because we were celebrating the Australia Day holiday.
