The Aurora Australis arrived back at Davis Station in early March to take the summer expeditioners, including us, back to Tasmania. We had a fun and productive season, and now it's time to analyze all that new data! The AA had been at sea for two months already, and was full of chemists, oceanographers, and biologists collecting samples and running experiments to learn about the southern ocean.
