The are many trades people on station: carpenters, plumbers, electricians, diesel mechanics. They are called the "Tradies", and they build new buildings and maintain the station to keep everything running smoothly. Jim enjoyed an opportuninty to work with the tradies for a day, driving the cement mixer and helping pour concrete pillars for the new Summer Accomodations Module. (photo courtesy of Mark Gallagher)
